How to Transfer Funds from Crypto.com to MetaMask?

People unfamiliar with the usage of new applications can find it difficult to transfer funds from Crypto.com to MetaMask. For the transfer of funds, you must have a MetaMask wallet and a Crypto.com account. You can read here how to set up a MetaMask wallet.

The procedure for transferring funds from Crypto.com to MetaMask is a bit different.

Note**: If you want to transfer funds, then you need to add your MetaMask wallet address 24 hours before on your Crypto.com account.

Let’s walk through all steps to know how to transfer funds.

Steps to Transfer funds from Crypto.com to MetaMask:

Step 1:

• Copy your MetaMask Address

To copy the MetaMask address,

• Launch your MetaMask extension or mobile application
• Login to your account
• Click on the crypto asset that you want to receive
• Click on Receive
• Click on Copy

Step 2:

• Login to your com
• You will see multiple options on the left side of your page
• Click Wallets
• Then, Click Spot

Step 3:

• Select the cryptocurrency that you want to send
• Make use of the search box to find cryptocurrency
• We will transfer EThereum (ETH) to MetaMask

Step 4:

• Once you have found the crypto to transfer, click Withdraw
• Now click External Wallet Address

Step 5:

• The withdrawal window will appear

In case you haven’t added the MetaMask address prior, you need to Click add Withdrawal Address

• Paste the withdrawal address and select the network carefully
• If you select the wrong network, then you will lose your crypto
• Add Label as MetaMask
• Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile and 2FA code

Lastly, Tap on Save the Address

Note:  After adding the address you need to wait for 24 hours to begin the transfer.

Step 6:

• Select the address by clicking the drop-down menu.
• Then, enter the amount of crypto that you want to transfer.

Click Review Withdrawal.

Note*: Confirmation Tab will appear, you need to review your transfer details and click Confirm

Step 7:

• After clicking Confirm, there will be a 2FA check-up.
• Open your Google Authenticator application to view the 2FA code.
• Enter the 6-digit 2FA code back into your Crypto.com account to complete the transfer.

Step 8:

• After a few minutes, you can head back to your MetaMask wallet and check your cryptocurrency balance.
• It took 6 minutes for us to receive our crypto in MetaMask.

Usually, withdrawals to an external wallet take no longer than 5-10 minutes. It may take up to a few hours to process in case of any congestion on the blockchain.
